We Exist to Honor God in All We Do

We’re an intergenerational congregation of believers dedicated to serving Christ and growing in our faith while sharing the Gospel message of Jesus. Planted in the area back in 1842, Aenon has a long history as part of the community. However, the Church isn’t a building, but God’s people, and Aenon is a local congregation of believers of the community that gather to worship God, serve, grow and reach others together. Though the location and facilities that the church has met and gathered in has changed over the years, the goal remains the same, to honor God in all we do and to take the Gospel message to our community and beyond.

Our Mission

Worship God, Share the Gospel, Grow Together

Our Vision

To be a place where believers in our community can come to worship, serve and be in fellowship with one another; providing sound Biblical teaching and God centered worship and engaging in intentional discipleship to help to build one another up in our faith; while also sharing the Gospel with our neighbors through proactive evangelism locally and contributing to missions around the globe.

Meet Our Pastor

Nicholas Simmons

Nick is a graduate of the Baptist College of Florida and has been married to his wife Marti Simmons since 2017. Raised in the Church, Nick came to true faith in Christ in 2018 and soon began to feel a call to the ministry. In October of 2020 he was called to the pastorate of Aenon and ordained through the Florida Baptist Association. His desire is to love and minister to God’s people, to faithfully exposit God’s word through sound Biblical preaching and teaching, to encourage and support through prayer, word and deed, and to be of service in whatever capacity that God enables him to do so.
